4. Recovery Gear & Use at Your Own Risk

Some products sold by True North are classified as recovery gear or equipment.

You acknowledge and agree that:

Recovery equipment can be inherently dangerous if used incorrectly.
All products must be used in accordance with manufacturer instructions and industry best practice.
Use of recovery gear is undertaken entirely at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, True North accepts no liability for injury, loss, damage, or death resulting from misuse, improper installation, or failure to follow safety guidelines.

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Prices include GST where applicable.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or inaccuracies at any time.
If an error is identified after an order is placed, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund.

Payment must be received in full before an order is dispatched.

6. Order Acceptance & Cancellation

An order is not accepted until it has been processed and dispatched.

We reserve the right to:

Cancel orders due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.
Limit quantities purchased per order or per customer.

7. Shipping & Dispatch

Shipping is available within Australia only.
Orders are dispatched directly by us within 1–3 business days, excluding public holidays.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to circumstances outside our control such as major sale events.

Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery.

8. Returns & Refunds

Change of Mind

Change of mind returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase.
Items must be unused, in original condition, and returned with original packaging and tags.
Sale items are not refundable.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise required by law.

Faulty or Damaged Goods

Faulty or damaged items will be inspected prior to resolution.
Following inspection, you may choose a replacement or refund where applicable.
This process is conducted in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

9. Warranty

All products are covered by a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty, unless stated otherwise.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, or carrier delays.
